Google is hiring a Software Engineer for its AI and Infrastructure team to develop and maintain large-scale software systems, platforms, networks, data centers, and related infrastructure. The role involves writing product or system code, participating in technology design reviews, reviewing and improving other developers’ code, contributing documentation, and triaging and debugging issues affecting hardware, networks, or service operations. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, at least two years of C++, Python, or Go programming experience, and two years of experience with large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture. The position offers a US salary of $147,000–$210,000 plus a 15% bonus target, equity, benefits, and in-person interviews, with eligible work locations in Kirkland, Sunnyvale, and Seattle.
