Description
Google is hiring a Software Engineer for its Laptops and Tablets Infrastructure team, which supports ChromeOS infrastructure, Chromebook and Googlebook launches, developer workflows, continuous integration, OS updates, and partner-facing systems. The role involves writing product and system code, leading technology design reviews, applying AI to improve infrastructure, performing integration testing and automation, monitoring, bug fixing, and developing full-stack web applications, backend systems, pipelines, or tools. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, two years of software development experience or one year with an advanced degree in an industry setting, and two years of experience with large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related field, experience with data structures and algorithms, and experience developing accessible technologies. The role is based in Poland and offers PLN 280,000–287,000 plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
