Description

JPMorgan Chase is hiring a Software Engineer III for its Consumer and Community Banking - Risk Technology Portfolio team. The role owns platform components supporting the end-to-end machine learning model lifecycle, including data and feature pipelines, AWS cloud infrastructure, model deployment and testing automation, monitoring, and migration of legacy workloads. The engineer will collaborate with data scientists and model developers and apply AI-assisted development tools while maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable platform capabilities.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Formal training or certification in software engineering
Required Previous Experiences: At least 3 years of applied software engineering experience
Hands-on experience building and maintaining production data or machine learning pipelines
Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI-generated outputs
Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code and deployment automation
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Databricks for model training and data pipeline development
Familiarity with MLOps practices, including model versioning, experiment tracking, feature stores, and model monitoring
AWS certification, such as Solutions Architect Associate
Exposure to RAG architectures or GenAI/LLM integration patterns
Knowledge of container-based deployment with Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes
Experience with big data processing frameworks, preferably Spark
