Google Cloud is hiring a Software Engineer, Infrastructure to provide technical leadership on high-impact projects, coach a distributed engineering team, align cross-functional goals, and design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions. The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of C++ programming experience, 5 years of large-scale infrastructure and distributed systems experience, 3 years of software design and architecture experience, and 3 years of technical leadership experience. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree or PhD in a relevant technical field, 8 years of data structures and algorithms experience, and experience in a complex matrixed organization. The listed compensation is $207,000–$300,000 USD plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
