Description
Google is hiring a Software Engineer, Infrastructure to lead high-impact projects on its Ads Personalization and User Modeling Infrastructure platform. The role provides technical leadership, coaches a distributed engineering team, aligns cross-team goals and timelines, and designs, develops, tests, deploys, maintains, and enhances large-scale software solutions. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of C++ programming experience, 5 years of software product testing and launch experience, 5 years of large-scale infrastructure or distributed-systems experience, and 3 years of software design and architecture experience. Preferred qualifications include an engineering or computer-science degree, data structures and algorithms experience, technical leadership experience, and experience in a complex matrixed organization. Compensation is $207,000–$300,000 USD plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
