York Space Systems is hiring a Software Engineer Intern to develop and test full-stack features and bugfixes for a spacecraft testing application. The role supports test-driven development, troubleshooting, embedded Linux and API development, software architecture, unit testing, and Software-in-the-loop and Hardware-in-the-loop systems. Candidates should have 0–2 years of software engineering experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree or higher, and experience with Python, React, FastAPI, MongoDB, Git, Linux, Docker, and CI/CD. The position offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, and a 401K, and requires permanent United States work authorization and the ability to obtain a Secret or higher security clearance.
