Description
DoorDash is hiring a 12-week Software Engineer Intern for its Toronto office, with a May or June 2027 start date and summer internship hosting. The intern will develop, maintain, and ship technical elements, collaborate with mentors and team members, solve customer-facing problems, and present learnings at the end of the internship. Candidates should be pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent, have no more than two years of full-time work experience, and be graduating between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028. Required qualifications include database experience, algorithms and data structures knowledge, object-oriented programming, clean code, version control, and unit testing. Preferred qualifications include prior software engineering experience, AI-powered development tools, systems efficiency and scalability, large-scale web applications, monitoring and continuous integration, real-time technology, service-oriented architecture, APIs, and technical leadership or research experience. The internship pays CAD 94,500–118,000.
