Snap Inc. is hiring an iOS Software Engineer for its Snapchat Messaging team to design, build, and ship messaging features in the iOS app, improve chat and media delivery reliability and latency, collaborate on the roadmap, and use instrumentation, A/B testing, and observability to improve engagement. The role requires iOS services or distributed systems experience, networking and async/concurrent programming knowledge, performance tuning expertise, and a technical degree or equivalent experience. The position follows a default-together approach requiring office attendance four or more days per week and offers base salaries of $100,000–$176,000 annually depending on the work location, plus RSU equity.
