Description
Smarsh is hiring a Cognition Engineer to embed within product teams and deliver end-to-end AI/ML integrations, including API orchestration, workflow management, error handling, and structured handover artifacts. The role owns and scales Cognition v3 architecture, Kafka and RESTful pipeline patterns, OCR-as-a-Service integrations, attachment processing, and production reliability, while instrumenting services with Prometheus and Grafana. The engineer will write clean, well-tested Kotlin or Java, contribute to architecture reviews, and support AI productivity tooling across Conduct, eDiscovery, and Enterprise Archive.
