Mastercard is hiring a Software Engineer for its Launch Program 2027, an 18-month program for individuals graduating between December 2026 and June 2027. The role involves writing maintainable code, contributing to software design, development, testing, and deployment, applying secure coding practices, participating in code reviews, and debugging issues. Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s or accelerated master’s degree, programming experience, knowledge of data structures and algorithms, familiarity with Git, and experience or coursework involving automated testing. The role is not eligible for work authorization sponsorship and is available in Arlington, Virginia; O’Fallon, Missouri; and Salt Lake City, Utah, with base salaries of $115,000 USD in Arlington and $100,000 USD in the other locations.
