CSC Generation is hiring a Software Engineer - Legacy Applications & Modernization in Houston, Texas, on a hybrid schedule. The role owns the maintenance, debugging, and incremental modernization of legacy .NET Framework, Python, JavaScript, and Java applications; builds AWS-based CI/CD pipelines; containerizes applications; automates infrastructure with Ansible; improves SQL, database, testing, observability, and deployment practices; and reduces production incidents. The position requires a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, hands-on experience with at least two of the listed technology stacks, AWS, Docker, Ansible, SQL, relational databases, and testing frameworks, along with strong troubleshooting, communication, and version-control skills.
