Description
The role is a Java software engineer focused on designing, building, operating, and sustaining traditional Java-based MapReduce analytics on enterprise-grade hosting platforms. Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, designing and coding software, debugging, integrating systems, developing data queries and algorithms, testing, documenting, and leading or overseeing software development teams. The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph, U.S. citizenship, 14 years of software engineering experience, and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline; cloud, distributed big data, MapReduce, Hadoop, and serialization experience are preferred.
