Description
Proton is hiring a Linux Desktop Client Engineer to build a greenfield native Linux desktop client for Proton Drive, integrating with Linux filesystem and system components, contributing to the platform-agnostic SDK and CLI, and maintaining cross-client testing, telemetry, build pipelines, and packaging across Debian and Fedora-based distributions. The role requires 5+ years of Linux desktop client software development, DevOps and Git experience, and open-source Linux distribution and packaging experience; GTK+, Qt, and Rust are preferred.
