Google is hiring a Software Engineer for its Local and Vertical Ads (LVL) Data Platform, which provides location, call, and service-area business data to the Google Ads ecosystem. The role focuses on serving infrastructure, data infrastructure, quality infrastructure, feature engineering, backend pipelines, low-latency infrastructure, advertiser reporting, and production stability, while also using AI to generate content and determine ad serving. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of software development experience, extensive full-stack and software architecture experience, and experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces. Compensation is $207,000–$300,000 USD plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
