Description
NOV is hiring a Software Engineer to develop and extend MCDT, a diagnostic and control tool for drilling equipment. The role involves building real-time data, I/O, alarm, trend, P&ID, 3D visualization, calibration, and diagnostic features; integrating PLCs, control systems, instrumentation, and sensors; and testing through simulation, physical equipment, FAT, and commissioning. The position is based in Kristiansand, with a start date by agreement, and requires several years of industrial software development experience, relevant higher education, strong industrial automation knowledge, and Norwegian and English language skills.
