Description
NOV is hiring a Software Engineer to develop and extend MCDT, a diagnostic and control tool for drilling equipment. The role involves building real-time data, I/O, alarm, trend, P&ID, 3D visualization, calibration, and diagnostic features; integrating PLCs, control systems, instrumentation, and sensors; and testing through simulation, physical equipment, FAT, and commissioning. The position is based in Kristiansand, with a start date by agreement, and requires several years of industrial software development experience, relevant higher education, industrial automation knowledge, strong Norwegian and English skills, and the ability to translate operator needs into reliable solutions.
