Figma is hiring a Machine Learning / AI Engineer to design, build, and productionize ML models for search, discovery, ranking, retrieval-augmented generation, and generative AI; maintain scalable data and annotation pipelines; collaborate with researchers, product engineers, and infrastructure engineers; and contribute to AI infrastructure and product innovation. The role requires 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years focused on applied machine learning or AI, along with Python, ML libraries, data pipelines, and model development experience. It is a full-time position available from a US hub or remotely in the United States, with an annual base salary range of $153,000 to $376,000 USD and health, dental, and vision coverage.
