Baton is hiring a full-time Software Engineer, Machine Learning Operations in Hayes Valley, San Francisco, California. The role is hybrid, with remote work on Monday and Friday and office work Tuesday through Thursday. The engineer will build and maintain production MLOps infrastructure, automate model monitoring, retraining, redeployment, experimentation, and drift detection, develop and productionize machine-learning models, strengthen distributed systems, and integrate ML capabilities with Baton’s transportation management platform. The position requires advanced production Python, distributed systems, machine learning, and MLOps expertise, with a base salary of $162,000 to $216,000 plus bonus and incentive opportunities.
