The Exploration Company is hiring a Software Engineer – Mission Control Software to develop mission-critical software for integrated testing and mission operations. The role covers the full software development lifecycle, scalable systems, automated testing, operational validation, user support, workflow and tooling improvements, and mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate has backend experience with Python or Ruby on Rails, frontend experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, knowledge of message brokers and event streaming, real-time data processing, object storage, Git, automated testing, distributed systems, software design patterns, agile development, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
