1X is hiring a Software Reliability Engineer to own reliability across its humanoid-robot software stack, from web and cloud through mobile, on-robot services, and embedded systems. The role builds and owns an integrated end-to-end testing package, establishes reliability standards and SLOs, triages reliability issues, and sets best practices across internal and external teams. Candidates need strong software engineering, distributed systems, DevOps, Linux, Python, and systems-language experience, along with statistical and probabilistic skills. The position offers $200,000 to $300,000 plus equity and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
