Arista Networks is hiring a Network Systems Software Engineer to develop and maintain software that controls switches, routers, and other hardware components. The role involves building features in C, C++, and Python; creating automated tests; designing software control interfaces; collaborating with hardware, manufacturing, customer support, and system test teams; troubleshooting customer and system issues; and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree plus three years of experience, or an MS plus two years, or a Ph.D. plus one year, along with knowledge of C or C++ and Python, UNIX or Linux, and low-level hardware.
