Description

Peregrine is seeking a Software Engineer, Networking to join their Platform team. This role involves designing and building control plane and automation systems for network connectivity, automating network tasks via Python, and troubleshooting complex connectivity issues like routing and BGP. The engineer will also extend APIs, automate infrastructure workflows across AWS and customer environments using various tools, and contribute to improving the reliability and observability of networking systems.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of experience in software, infrastructure, or network engineering roles, with a focus on systems at scale

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, NAT, VPNs)
Experience with cloud platforms and networking constructs (e.g., VPCs, routing, security)
Experience building or operating distributed systems or infrastructure (e.g., control planes, automation systems)
Strong debugging skills and ability to work across system and network boundaries
