Description
Apple is seeking a Control Plane Engineer to design and build production-scale control-plane tooling and automation for its time series database, covering provisioning, orchestration, scaling, upgrades, health, and self-healing. The role also involves core distributed-systems development for ingestion, storage, and query paths, along with requirements gathering, technical design, reliability improvements, research, and mentoring. Candidates need a CS degree or equivalent, at least five years of industry experience, strong distributed-systems and scalability knowledge, and proficiency in a language such as Java, Scala, Go, or Python.
