Amazon LEO is hiring a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain highly reliable flight software for optical inter-satellite link systems. The role covers embedded Linux and RTOS software, fault-tolerant and redundant systems, autonomous recovery, test and simulation infrastructure, OTA updates, board bring-up, and hardware-software integration. Candidates need at least five years of professional software development, programming, system design or architecture, leadership, and embedded Linux or RTOS experience. The position is based in Northridge, California, or Redmond, Washington, with a base salary of $168,100 to $227,400 annually.
