Description
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an onsite Software Engineer - Packet Forwarding to design limited enhancements and programming changes for systems software, analyze coding and integration requirements, execute testing plans, debug code, and collaborate with internal and outsourced development partners. The role requires a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or an equivalent field, and typically 6–10 years of experience in programming, operating-system concepts, and networking. Required skills include Linux, C and C++, data-plane and Layer 2/3 forwarding, access control lists, firewalls, software systems testing, and strong communication.
