Wingspan is hiring a Software Engineer for its Payment Operations team to build and maintain systems that reconcile payments, monitor funding and transaction health, automate operational toil, and improve platform reliability. The role reports to the Head of Payments & Compliance Operations, is based in Warsaw, Poland, and uses a remote work model. Candidates need 3–5 years of software engineering or engineering-adjacent experience, exposure to payment systems or backend services, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend services; Node.js and TypeScript experience is a plus. Compensation is 19,800–24,200 Polish złoty per month, with stock options, vacation, a WFH stipend, a MacBook Pro, and travel stipends.
