Google is hiring a Software Engineer for the Pixel team to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions for Pixel devices and services. The role involves writing and testing code, reviewing other engineers’ work, triaging and debugging issues, contributing to documentation, and participating in technology design reviews. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, five years of low-level systems programming experience, three years of software product experience, one year of software design and architecture experience, and three years of embedded operating systems experience. Compensation is $174,000–$252,000 USD plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
