NewsBreak is hiring a Software Engineer, Places Data to build and scale its local knowledge graph. The role owns POI and places-data systems, entity resolution and linking, ontology and schema design, multi-source data fusion, and data-quality systems for merchants and listings. It requires at least four years of software engineering experience with knowledge-graph, POI, or places-data work, along with experience in entity resolution, ontology design, and data-engineering fundamentals. The position offers an annual base salary of $142,000 to $342,000 USD, with possible discretionary bonus and options.
