Description
PlanetScale is hiring a Software Engineer to join its Postgres engineering team and build a managed Postgres platform. The role focuses on designing and operating the control plane for provisioning, scaling, healing, high availability, disaster recovery, data protection, backup, restore, and migration workflows; tuning Postgres at scale; building automation; and working with customers. Candidates need at least five years of software engineering experience, strong Go proficiency, distributed-systems expertise, and knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized applications. The position offers a base salary of $120,000 to $290,000 USD plus variable compensation, benefits, and equity.
