Description

XBOW is hiring a full-time Software Engineer - Platform / Core Infrastructure to design and implement scalable, secure distributed infrastructure for its core AI engine and distributed analysis systems. The role covers multi-cloud deployment, cloud service optimization, TypeScript, Kotlin, and Go development, event-driven architectures, disaster recovery, observability, and production support. It is remote in the United States or EMEA, with regular team meetings and support for occasional in-person collaboration.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience building and operating scalable distributed systems on cloud infrastructure such as AWS or similar.
Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with infrastructure as code, including Terraform or CDK.
Experience with event-driven architectures, message queues, or asynchronous workflows, including Kafka.
Experience tuning performance across cloud services, databases, and compute layers.
Experience implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical systems.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience deploying infrastructure across SaaS and on-premises environments and building resilient systems.
Familiarity with modern observability practices involving logs, metrics, and tracing.
Experience working in an early-stage startup.
Experience building developer tooling or security products.
Hands-on experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch at scale.
Experience building platform teams or internal developer platforms.
