Description
Valeo is hiring a full-time R&D Engineer for GTSC Software on an annual contract. The role develops and tests safety-critical embedded C software for automotive powertrain applications, including inverters, DC-DC converters, battery management systems, thermal management, and smart actuators. Responsibilities include debugging hardware and software issues, applying AI and LLM tools, following AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining code quality and testing standards. Candidates need a relevant B.Sc. or M.Sc., 0–2 years of embedded software experience, strong programming skills, and knowledge of power electronics, control theory, and microcontroller fundamentals.
