PNC Financial Services Group is hiring a Software Engineer Principal in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to lead the technical design and development of software solutions for its Corporate and Institutional Banking Systems Engineering Group. The role includes requirements analysis, workflow and technical design, unit testing, production deployment, technical team oversight, production issue resolution, application upgrades, and support for cloud-enabled microservices, CI/CD, reporting, integrations, and process improvement. A bachelor’s degree in an engineering or computer-related field and five years of experience with Java, REST/SOAP web services, Spring, JPA, JSON, Oracle PL/SQL, and related technologies are required.
