Jane Street is hiring Software Engineers to join its Programming Language Engineering teams, working on programming languages across areas such as language design and type systems, compilers and optimisation, incremental and parallel computation, high-performance computing support, domain-specific languages, and tooling/developer experience. The role emphasizes strong programming ability, deep experience and interest in programming languages, and collaboration in small teams; no OCaml or functional programming experience is required, and fluency in English is required.
