Northbeam is hiring a mid-level software engineer focused on backend development, with approximately 70% backend work and 20–30% frontend work. The role involves building backend services, APIs, data-processing and near-real-time ingestion systems, AI-powered workflows, connection-state systems, and other product capabilities, while collaborating with data scientists, product managers, designers, and senior engineers. Candidates need at least three years of Python backend experience, exposure to distributed systems or microservices, frontend experience with React and TypeScript, and the ability to work through complex datasets and production-ready implementations. The position offers a base salary of $140,000–$155,000 USD, equity, healthcare benefits, a 401(k), paid time off, holidays, parental leave, and a work-from-home stipend.
