Description
SSC Space is hiring a full-time, permanent Software Engineer for its Rockets and Balloons department at Esrange Space Center in Kiruna. The role develops, maintains, and improves software and operational systems used before, during, and after rocket and balloon campaigns, while managing configurations, releases, documentation, testing, verification, and collaboration with IT and other technical teams. The position requires software development and system administration experience, Linux and Windows experience, deep experience with at least one programming language, and strong problem-solving and communication skills; additional desired qualifications include C, C++, .NET, C#, Rust, agile methods, test automation, project coordination, a bachelor-level or higher degree, and leadership experience.
