PlusAI is hiring a Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer to own the vehicle-data pipeline from high-throughput recording on autonomous trucks through transfer, validation, cataloging, storage, and efficient access for replay, analytics, and machine learning. The role focuses on modern C++ and Python systems, including data-plane services, versioned data formats, APIs, indexing, serialization, compression, schema evolution, and scalable columnar or lakehouse access. Candidates need a degree in computer science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience, C++ and Python programming skills, and Linux systems knowledge; autonomous-vehicle, robotics, and data-format experience is preferred but not required.
