Apple is hiring experienced software engineers for its Search and Data Foundations team within the Apple Intelligence Platform. The role focuses on building high-performance, data-intensive systems for on-device intelligent experiences, including data pipelines, storage and retrieval, intelligent indexing, and search technologies. The position requires strong computer science fundamentals, reliable and well-tested code, problem-solving and debugging skills, technical communication, and hands-on experience with a compiled language and multi-threaded applications. Preferred qualifications include database and operating system knowledge, performance profiling, and macOS/iOS development experience.
