Apple is hiring a Software Engineer to develop real-time search services powering Siri and other Apple products. The role involves building systems that understand user queries and intents, retrieve and rank documents, generate user experiences, and contribute to data generation and evaluation. Responsibilities include designing and managing real-time data ingestion pipelines, developing advanced search systems, and collaborating with engineering, product, and design teams. The position requires at least two years of industry experience, Linux/Unix server software experience, proficiency in two programming languages from C/C++, Go, Python, Java, or Scala, and a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
