CTEC is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to support the Defense Finance and Accounting Service’s IBM mainframe-based civilian payroll system. The role involves designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise software; collaborating with hardware and system architects; analyzing requirements; developing compilers, utility programs, and operating-system software; and supporting modernization and integration initiatives. Candidates must have 5–8 years of hands-on experience with either Oracle, Cognos, and JavaScript, or Broadcom Endevor, along with an active Secret clearance. Preferred qualifications include mainframe technologies, COBOL, JCL, IDMS, VBA, and government financial-system experience.
