Lockheed Martin is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to manage the design, development, operation, and maintenance of software and firmware components and computing systems for engineering, scientific, manufacturing, defense, aerospace, and other systems. The role coordinates subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance, assignments, compensation, and disciplinary actions; oversees standards and tools across the software development life cycle; and manages interfaces with customers, suppliers, users, and technical personnel. Candidates must hold an active DoD Secret Security Clearance, have a relevant bachelor’s degree, and demonstrate embedded software, complex systems, process improvement, and software engineering management experience.
