Workday is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer for its Agent Runtime team to design and build core runtime services for secure, policy-governed agent execution. The role owns sandbox execution, sidecar interfaces, enforcement flows, service contracts, performance, scalability, observability, production reliability, and incident response, while also mentoring engineers. Candidates need 8+ years of software development engineering experience, including 6+ years with platform systems, along with distributed systems, backend programming, Terraform, secure-systems, and production-reliability experience.
