Description
Saildrone is hiring a Software Engineer, Simulation & Evaluation to build production-quality infrastructure for replaying real-world data, simulating autonomous behavior, measuring performance, and converting failures into repeatable tests. The role covers simulation, replay, resimulation, scenario generation, evaluation, automated regression, open- and closed-loop testing, quantitative metrics, telemetry analysis, and integration of simulation and evaluation into the software development lifecycle. Candidates need strong C++ software engineering experience, robotics or autonomous-systems testing infrastructure experience, systems fundamentals, and experience building quantitative evaluation systems.
