Lockheed Martin Skunk Works is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to contribute across the full software development lifecycle for next-generation avionics services, safety-critical OFP software, and flight-critical hardware subsystems. The role includes requirements generation, design, implementation, integration, testing, debugging, and flight-test activities, with a focus on AI prompting, embedded systems, air-vehicle software, and safety-critical development processes. The position requires a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, C or C++ and Linux or RTOS experience, team software-development experience, and mentoring or lead experience; it also requires U.S. citizenship and a Top Secret clearance. The role offers onsite-to-remote flexibility and a full-time salary range of $135,700 to $251,900, along with medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave, and other benefits.
