Google is hiring a Software Engineer to develop software for SmartNICs and infrastructure processing units, supporting networking and offload capabilities for Google and its cloud customers. The role involves writing product and system code, participating in design reviews, reviewing and improving other developers’ code, contributing documentation, and triaging and debugging hardware, network, or service issues. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, software development experience, embedded operating systems experience, and experience with kernel, kernel drivers, networking, device drivers, and debugging.
