Global Payments is hiring a Software Engineer, Agentic Commerce for a greenfield engineering team building autonomous commerce solutions. The role focuses on secure checkout APIs that AI agents can invoke, agentic payment integrations, merchant-facing APIs and SDKs, developer experience, API governance, and collaboration across product and engineering. Candidates should have scalable software and API development experience, systems architecture and distributed-systems knowledge, familiarity with payments or fintech, and a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; AI, LLM, autonomous-agent, payment-processing, fraud-prevention, SDK, and developer-platform experience are beneficial.
