Lockheed Martin Space is hiring a Software Systems Engineer for the Orion Program. The role applies systems engineering techniques to the Orion software product, creates software requirements and designs from mission requirements, coordinates software development activities, and works across software teams to manage interfaces and dependencies. The position requires Python and C++ experience, familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Perforce, and DOORS, prior software systems engineering experience, and strong communication skills; previous Orion, SCM, and AI prompting experience are desired.
