Description
Lockheed Martin Space is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its simulation software team supporting the NASA Orion program. The role plans, coordinates, and executes development of simulation tools; designs, codes, tests, and debugs logical and mathematical models using C++, Python, and MATLAB/Simulink; and supports software-only and hardware-in-the-loop environments. The position requires a B.S. in Engineering or related degree, at least three years of software engineering experience, full software development lifecycle experience, debugging and large-scale systems experience, C++ and Python proficiency, and Linux experience. Desired qualifications include real-time 6 DoF simulation, aerospace engineering concepts, Perforce, MATLAB/Simulink, and Orion experience. The full-time salary range is $110,300 to $204,900, with medical, dental, vision, flexible work arrangements, retirement matching, paid time off, and other benefits.
