Description
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is hiring a Software Engineer Sr to design, develop, and maintain Python-driven test automation infrastructure for aircraft flight software. The role supports continuous integration, build pipelines, virtual development labs, reusable tooling, and cross-platform testing across simulated, hardware-in-the-loop, and laboratory environments. The engineer will lead small software sub teams through agile ceremonies, collaborate with aircraft, simulation, and systems stakeholders, and document architecture and troubleshooting procedures. The position requires a STEM bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, advanced Python development, software testing, Linux and Windows experience, and U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain an interim Secret clearance.
