DiDi Autonomous Driving is hiring a Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer to develop core decision-making and motion planning systems for autonomous vehicles. The role covers high-level behavioral reasoning, geometry and velocity planning, trajectory optimization, world modeling, cost design, testing, debugging, and collaboration with prediction, perception, and control teams. Candidates need a degree in computer science, robotics, or a related field, experience in autonomous systems or automotive software, strong C++ skills, and knowledge of robotics fundamentals; robotics planning experience, vehicle dynamics, and machine learning are preferred. The base salary ranges from $141,463 to $235,182 for the Software Engineer and $169,783 to $282,264 for the Senior Software Engineer, with bonus, equity, and benefits.
