Description
Blackboard is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for a remote role in the United States. The engineer will own product interfaces, secure communications, encryption, storage architecture, data access controls, audit logging, and end-to-end feature delivery from specification through production. The role requires a master’s degree in computer science or a related field, at least six years of relevant experience or equivalent experience, native use of AI coding tools, full-stack product shipping experience, strong product instincts, and fluency in English. A PhD and consumer-product experience are preferred. The base salary is $140,000–$175,000, and visa sponsorship is not provided.
